As part of the dissemination activities of our project «Energy/Fuel and Human Poverty: Public Policy and Recommendations in Southern Europe», Vivian Angeletopoulou, a PhD candidate and member of the research team of the E/FPoRe project, participated in The International Annual Conference of Business, Economics, and Politics in the Middle East, which took place on November 9, 2024. She contributed to the conference by presenting our first research findings and discussing topics relevant to the project. (online)

As part of our project's dissemination efforts, Dr. Eleni Pastrapa, a member of the E/FPoRe research team, participated in the 2nd Open Air Cities International Conference (14-16/2/2025.). During the conference, she presented our work titled "Analyzing Energy Poverty in Southern Europe: A Statistical Approach Using Subjective Indicators", contributing valuable insights to the ongoing discourse on energy poverty and its measurement in the region.

As part of our project's dissemination efforts, PhD. (c) Vivian Angeletopoulou, a member of the E/FPoRe research team, participated in the 3rd International Conference on Innovation in Renewable Energy and Power that took place in Berlin (13-15 March, 2025). During the conference, she presented our work titled "Energy Poverty and Severe Material Deprivation in Greece: A Path to Inclusive Policy Solutions", contributing valuable insights to the ongoing discourse on energy poverty and its measurement in the region.

We are proud to share that our EFPORE-SE project (thanks to ΕΛΙΔΕΚ - Ελληνικό Ίδρυμα Έρευνας και Καινοτομίας) results were successfully presented during the 1st International Workshop on Applied Economics and Sustainability, held on April 11–12 ,2025 at Harokopio University in Athens. A big thank you to João Pedro Gouveia, Josep-Maria Arauzo-Carod, Giacomo Di Foggia, Pedro Palma and Konstantinos Tsagarakis for their excellent presentations and valuable insights around Energy Poverty, which highlighted the key outcomes of our work and sparked engaging discussions with fellow researchers and stakeholders.






As part of the dissemination activities of our project «Energy/Fuel and Human Poverty: Public Policy and Recommendations in Southern Europe», Roido Mitoula, Professor and member of the research team of the E/FPoRe project, participated (virtually) in the International Symposium on Circular Economy and Sustainability, which took place on June 16-18, 2025 in Alexandroupolis.
Prof. Roido Mitoula contributed to the conference by presenting the team’s research findings with a presentation titled “Comparative analysis of energy poverty in Greece and Italy: Regional disparities and policy implications.” Her participation fostered discussion on critical topics related to energy poverty, regional inequalities, and the policy framework in Southern Europe.
